BLUE NOTE
Blue Note是爵士音樂唱片的label，在1939年由Alfred Lion和Francis Wolff創立。名字”blue notes”可說是藍色的音符，是取自於爵士和藍調。
Blue Note在1965被Liberty Records併購。到1979年，EMI把Liberty買下；直到1985， Blue Note label便不復存在。重新推出的唱片或再版，均以EMI Manhattan Records的品牌出現。一些音樂人如McCoy Tyner、Joe Lovano ，都重新推出大碟。
時致今日，Blue Note商標及其目錄，已是由Capitol Records所操控；同時也積極地把大量過往錄音再版出售。
