Comparing to Vinyl record maintenance or collection, CD/DVD storage should be much easier. CD and DVD storage method should be basically the same.
The most vital fact is to place the CD / DVD disc back into a specially designed box. Also, you should put in a cool and dry place.
There are several considerations for CD/DVD storage.
- Place the CD/DVD disc to a place dry and cool to avoid moldy.
- Do not allow CD/DVD to touch water in order to avoid dropping of Electroplating
- Place the CD/DVD disc back to the box after playing for 1 hour to cool down completely
- Moldy and/or dirty vinyl should be cleaned before playing. Please refer to “Cleaning CD/DVD”
